Register – Coach/Manager

All Coaches & Managers need to register (for free) in Rugby Xplorer. Once registered you will have access to a range of resources and courses.

Smart Rugby Course

All Coaches, Assistant Coaches/Trainers, & Managers must complete Smart Rugby (3hrs) or Refresher (30m). Login to Rugby Xplorer on your computer and click Learning Centre. Click Browse Learning and under the Smart Rugby menu locate the online Smart Rugby module.

Smart Tackle Course – New Tackle Height

All Coaches need to complete the Smart Tackle Course (30min). Login to Rugby Xplorer in your computer and click Learning Centre. Click Browse Learning and under the Smart Rugby menu locate the online Smart Tackle module.

From February 2024 the legal height of tackles in the game lowered to below the sternum. The new law (9.13) will see dangerous tackling now deemed to include, but not be limited to, tackling or attempting to tackle an opponent above the line of the sternum.

All Coaches & Managers must have a valid Working with Children Check. You will need to add the details to your Rugby Xplorer Account.

Managers – Match Day

Managers enter player names for each game/gala day. Download the Rugby Match Day app. You will use your Rugby Xplorer account to login. Once the season starts Team lists will become available.

Online Coaching Courses

The Rugby Xplorer Learning Centre (not available in the app) provides a large range of videos & courses aimed at coaching specific age groups.
